Mark Harding

Mark Harding

Director & Founder of Ceroc Australia, Mark has been teaching since 1991 in Australia, UK and New Zealand. Together with his wife Simone, and individually, he has won many dance championships and choreographed many routines. His classes are always informative and lots of fun, in keeping with his philosophy that "Everyone is Welcome" to learn Ceroc.

Simone Harding

Simone Harding

Having a musical background, dancing has always been a natural progression for Simone. She has choreographed a number of popular routines and also has a number of current Masters championship wins to her credit. She is a very experienced Teacher with a distinctive style.

Adam Horne

Adam Horne

Adam has been dancing since 1995 and teaching for since 1998. His classes are all about speciality moves and he really enjoys bringing something new to his classes. Adam really likes the world of Ceroc and like many other teachers met his lovely wife Stephanie through dancing.

Bill & Tania Hannan

Bill & Tania have been dancing Ceroc since 1995. They're best known for their choreography of exciting ball routines and winning team events at Ceroc championships. Bill's dynamic teaching style is very popular and with Tania loves to teach leans and dips that will challenge, however they always offer simplified alternate moves.

Brad has been dancing since 1997 first competed with his dance partner of 4 years, Nadia, in 2008. They have competed successfully at Advanced level since then. Brad has a vast array of very stylish moves in his repertoire that he enjoys teaching.

Charlie Cowie

Charlie has been dancing all her life, starting Ceroc in 2007. With her dance partner Sean she has since enjoyed many wins and podium finishes in Ceroc cabaret and freestyle competitions, most recently with a placing in their first Masters competition. Her style is smooth and her winning smile legendary.

Dayna Houldin

Dayna has been dancing Ceroc for over 10 years. She likes her classes to be fun and social and really likes seeing people enjoying dancing the moves she has taught them. With dance partner James Vlassis has competed successfully in Showcase/People's Choice over the past 6 years.

Debra started Ceroc in March 1995. She teaches beginners exclusively taking a simplistic approach that makes it as fun and easy as possible for them to learn the moves. In addition Debra has competed successfully in a number of dance competitions over the years.

This dynamic duo, known for their energy, are bursting with style and movement. Dancing and teaching for over 20 years, their knowledge of many dance styles, hip hop, lindy hop as well as Ceroc brings a broader perspective to their dancing, which is always a pleasure to watch.

Grace D'angelo

Grace has been dancing for 11 years. She started teaching 8 years ago at the Marconi Club with Craig Holmes. Grace has a fluid style and likes to give extra tips for both girls and guys. Grace and partner George make a powerful couple and provide an exciting class.

Jenny has over 30 years experience in the dance field. A former professional dancer who also ran a dance studio for 15 years, teaching classical ballet and jazz. She adores finding expression through movement and teaching others. 'I get a real thrill out of helping people develop their skills and confidence in dancing'.

With his knowledge on a number of dance styles Joe's 8 years teaching experience shows through in his classes. He is well known for his big smile and fun approach to teaching.

John Kennedy

John Kennedy

John started dancing in 1994,semi-professionally in jazz & theatre. He started modern jive in 1999, competing in 2002 and teaching in 2004. Since then he has won in Advanced and Masters categories in competitions around Australia

John Langmar

With a background in Hungarian National Dancing and Ballroom John has been dancing Ceroc for 12 years, teaching for 9. He has competed and won a number of dance competitions. Also performed many routines including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and 2003 Rugby World Cup.

Karl's original teaching style has made him one of our most popular, and sought after, teachers. He is definitely one of the young up-and-comers who is making a huge impression on the Modern Jive world. In 2008 he entered the competition dance scene and achieved 2nd place with Simone Harding in Masters Freestyle.

Karl went to his first Modern Jive class at 16. Now as a teacher his aim is to encourage others to be more interpretive. Karl has competed extensively and been placed at Masters level. He has also choreographed and performed many routines.

Kathy has been dancing and teaching for many years. She dances many styles - swing, tango, lindy hop, west coast as well as Ceroc and this clearly shows in the way she dances and teaches. Kathy's classes always have great tips for the girls which are always appreciated.

Kathy Marsh opened the original Hornsby venue in 2005 with husband Richard, which proved to very successful. Their classes are a combination of challenging and fun moves delivered with humour. You're sure to enjoy their classes.

Lauren started Ceroc 5 years ago and is relatively new to teaching. She started competing in 2008 with some success. She started learning Ceroc because a work colleague kept telling her how much fun it was. So she endeavours to make her classes fun too.

With a music background Nadia started dancing Ceroc in 2005. As a teacher she brings musicality, choreographed routines and styling tips and trick for the ladies to her classes. She enjoys watching dancers grow in confidence as they develop new skills. Nadia has choreographed routines and competed successfully at Advanced level with dance partner Brad Pickford.

Olivia is a spontaneous and energetic teacher and was a blast from the word ‘go’! She has had a lifetime of dance training in ballet, tap and jazz. Only in recent years did she start learning a partner dance such as Ceroc. Olivia has competed and been placed at Masters level. She has also choreographed and performed many routines.

Paul has been dancing Ceroc since 2001 and became a teacher after 3 years. He graduated to Mainstream teaching in 2008. He has learnt many dance styles - Square dancing, Bush dancing, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Fun, Lindy Hop and Latin and brings this versatility to his teaching.

Rob and Kris have been dancing together for seven years. They love teaching dance with a mixture of movement and style, lots of music and laughter. They have choreographed a number of routines and competed successfully at State and National championships.

Sean Kavanagh has been dancing Ceroc since 2007 and started teaching in 2009. As a guy who was relatively late in discovering a passion for dance, seeing people come to Ceroc for the first time and realise that they can actually dance is his greatest reward. With his dance partner Charlie Cowie he has won or been placed in many championships right up to Masters.

Shauna is a passionate teacher of dance. She has been dancing Ceroc since 1998 and before that attained a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Dance, taught Latin American & Modern Ballroom overseas and competed in many Australian Championships. Shauna loves teaching and seeing the joy on peoples faces as they master a move.

Sonia started Ceroc in 2005, the first night at a Southside Dance Party. She started teaching in 2009 and loves being able to pass on what she has learnt to others. Sonia previously taught children jazz and tap classes.

Susan came to her very first class of Ceroc in 1991. By 1992 she had started teaching moving to Mainstream very quickly. She competed successfully for many years and most recently has concentrated on choreography. She really loves to help people progress with their dancing.

Sylvia has been dancing Ceroc for 12+ years. Prior to that she had no formal dance tuition. 4 years ago she became a Beginner teacher and has competed in Ceroc Championships and performed many routines as well as being a co-choreographer for 5 routines.

Tim started learning Ceroc at Hornsby in 2005. He really enjoys teaching and is popular with all age groups. His fluid dance style is appreciated and people are keen to learn to dance like him.

With experience in Ballroom, Todd started dancing Ceroc in 2006. Relatively new to teaching he likes people to experience the enjoyment of smooth stylish, easy to teach, moves with a mix of some great modern music with a distinctive beat. His aim is for people to enjoy class and most importantly, have fun.
