Ceroc in Schools
Watch a Video of Ceroc in action
Ceroc Australia has taught at numerous schools across Sydney many of whom ask us back year after year. Our most experienced teachers can teach classes of up to 250 students.
Ceroc is a combination of dance styles incorporating jive, rock 'n roll and Latin and is very popular for students from year 8 through to year 12, however, we mainly teach years 9 and 10. Ceroc uses almost all modern popular music types and so is generally appealing to the majority of the younger generation.
Why do students like Ceroc?

- Ceroc is a useable dance style often danced at the year 10 formal or at student parties
- Partners are rotated throughout the class encouraging students to socialise as a whole, eliminating cliques

What schools say about us?
Since we have introduced Ceroc dancing to our sport program we have been thoroughly impressed. The instructors are friendly and easy-going and have an excellent rapport with our students. Upon observing the students, they are presented with an enjoyable and beneficial experience. They are all involved and motivated as Ceroc dancing is a modern free-style dancing where they can relax and dance away to the latest music. Students find this an extremely beneficial experience as they can relate to and use this in other areas of their lives.
MLC Have been fortunate enough to get involved with Mark Harding and his Ceroc program for the past 6 years. The format of the lessons has worked well in the past. He teaches about 50 students for an hour and half lesson. In this time he has been able to teach the students the basic moves, and ultimately, dance 'free form' (without any instructions from Mark and his team). His teaching methods are excellent and his ability to accommodate the Board of Studies Syllabus outcomes (for Personal Development, Health and physical education into his lessons are excellent. Upon evaluation after each unit of work, the teachers and students have been more than satisfied with the Ceroc group and their teaching methods. After 6 years of excellent service, I will continue to use Mark and Ceroc Australia Pty Limited for our future Year 10 dance program.
