Below are some of the teachers invited to the Hunter Valley in 2013

 
Shaun Diaz   Shaun Diaz

Shaun Diaz has been passionate about his modern jive for the past 7 years. His dance skills extend to contemporary, lyrical, commercial, jazz, hip hop – the list goes on. He started dancing in 2005 with Maddy Platts, then Zoe Durey and now Sarah Birtels. Shaun has recently won 1st place in Showcase in VMJC, also Champions Freestyle, Girl Battle/Guy Battle and DWAS. His style is flowing with a high level of musicality which he is keen to impart in his teaching.

Grant & Liz Grinter  

Grant & Liz Grinter

Grant and Liz have been dancing together since 2008. They have choreographed winning team routines and cabarets and have been placed numerous times – too many to list here. They have a unique style and personality, love playing with musicality and having fun, which you’ll discover is really infectious.

George Ciprian and Hannah Honey  

George Ciprian & Hannah Honey
Simply Ceroc, New Zealand

George Ciprian & Hannah Honey teach, compete and perform a blend of aerials and floor work with a distinctive Latin style. As well as leading popular workshops on aerials, special moves and styling George and Hannah also successfully compete in Latin and Ballroom.

Initially they joined forces in 2009 and competed nationwide with great success. Their favourite divisions to compete and judge are Advanced A Freestyle and Open. Hannah & George joined forces to take out the Kiwi Classic Modern Jive top category for the last 2 years, as well as winning the Champions Division of the NZ Ceroc Nationals in 2011 & 2012

 

 
 
Francis Burgess   Francis Burgess
Ceroc Australia, Sydney

Francis has been dancing Ceroc both in the UK and Australia for 12 years. He brings a great sense of fun to his classes as well as a great deal of style. His dancing and individual dress style has earned him the nick name 'Fred Astaire' with his local Northern Beaches students.

He is a tireless dancer, who is constantly researching both music and dance moves in order to bring not only the very latest moves, but continued interest to his classes. He is most likely to say: "And it looks something like this".

 
Mark Harding   Mark Harding
Ceroc Australia, Sydney

Mark is the Director & Founder of Ceroc Australia and has been teaching since 1991 in Australia, UK and New Zealand. He has won many dance championships and choreographed many routines. Mark loves his dancing and it shows. He has been invited to teach at weekenders all over Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He has some great workshops for you so make sure you check the schedule to see when they are on. His classes are always informative and lots of fun, in keeping with his philosophy that "Everyone is Welcome" to learn Ceroc.

Always innovative, he is keeping the dance style of Ceroc/Modern Jive fresh with his introduction of the Anchor Step and the new Beginner footwork.

 
Karl Jancar   Karl Jancar
Ceroc Australia, Sydney

Karl has an original style, definitely one of the young up-and-comers who is making an impression on the Modern Jive world and is now one of our most popular teachers. He entered the highly competitive dance scene in 2008 winning 2nd place Masters Freestyle with Simone Harding.

 
Emma Priest   Emma Priest
Ceroc Melbourne

Emma, a Masters level dancer has been dancing Ceroc since 2004 and competing since 2005. In the last 2 years she has competed in every national competition and is also a Judge. Emma is known too for her trophy-winning routines and cabarets.

Brad  & Nadia Pickford   Brad & Nadia Pickford
Ceroc Australia, Sydney

Brad & Nadia are an extremely popular teaching couple, with a large following. Brad has been dancing since 1997 first competed with Nadia in 2008. They have competed successfully at Advanced level since then. They have a vast array of very stylish moves, with a high level of musicality, in their repertoire.

As teachers they bring, not only great moves but plenty of styling tips and tricks for the girls. They love to watch their students growing in confidence as they develop new skills.

 
Donna and Paul Brotherson   Donna & Paul Brotherson
Ceroc Australia, Sydney

Donna & Paul have been dancing for many years, with Donna being a champion dancer emanating from UK. Together they have won championships in Australia.

This dynamic duo, known for their energy, are bursting with style and movement. Dancing and teaching for over 20 years, their knowledge of many dance styles, hip hop, lindy hop as well as Ceroc brings a broader perspective to their dancing.

Being talented choreographers, their routines are always great fun and extremely entertaining.
