Your Teachers for 2010

Ceroc or Modern Jive has undergone an extraordinary metamorphosis lately. The workshops planned for the 2010 Cocktail Weekender, in the Hunter Valley, will be a reflection of these changes. You will experience a vast variety from which to choose, with many workshops in different styles available.
Here are the teachers who will be taking the workshops:

Holly and Allan Skinner   Holly & Allan Skinner
Le Step, Gold Coast
Allan and Holly Skinner are two of the most popular performers on Australia's Modern Jive/Ceroc scene today. They blitzed the 2008 and 2009 competition circuit, taking out First Place in the Showcase / Cabaret event in all but one of the Modern Jive championships they entered in both Australia and New Zealand. Together with her freestyle partner Coby, Holly was also First Place winner in the Champions Freestyle category in all competitions she entered in 2008 and 2009. Holly has also had success in the Dance with a Stranger events, placing first in the last four competitions.

Allan and Holly enjoy teaching, competing and getting to meet and dance with people from all around the country. Most of all, they are passionate and excited about the development of dance all over Australia.

  Clinton Glasgow & Emma Willis
Ceroc Australia & Le Step, Gold Coast
Emma and Clint have danced together for 2 and a half years with a distance of over 900 km's between them! The distance has provided a challenge, but not one that has stopped them combining together to make one of the most successful partnerships on the Modern Jive circuit today. Their reputation is not undeserved when you combine their individual success, they can account for winning no less than 24 Australian Champions Freestyle, Showcase and DWAS titles. As a couple their most notable success was in 2007 where they were the undefeated Australian Modern Jive Champions in Freestyle.

Emma and Clint both have infectious personalities, and are well known for their enthusiasm and love of both dancing and teaching Modern Jive. They frequently judge at national competitions and perform and teach at various dance congresses and workshops throughout Australia, NZ and the UK. Their teaching style is relaxed, fun and easy to follow. While concentrating on technique and timing, Emma and Clint understand that people learn to dance for many different reasons and they strive to turn out quality dancers who know how to have fun on the floor.
