How to get there
Directions to Lindemans Winery and Cypress Lakes Resort from Sydney.
- From the centre of Sydney, cross the Harbour Bridge and proceed along Pacific Highway north to the National 1 (F3) Freeway at Wahroonga
- Travel north along the F3 freeway towards Newcastle (approx 1 hour).
- Turn off the F3 freeway at the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri exit and proceed to Cessnock
- As you enter Cessnock along Aberdare Rd, turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Vincent St (following the directional signs to Branxton).
- Proceed to the end of Vincent St. Turn left at traffic lights onto Wollombi Rd (Following the directional signs to Branxton) and then first right at the traffic lights onto Allandale Rd, passing swimming pool on the left and McDonalds on the right.
- Proceed along Allandale Rd. 5km out of Cessnock you will pass the Cessnock Airport on the left hand side.
- Turn left 500 metres past the airport into Broke Rd.
- Follow Broke Rd for approx 3km to the "T" intersection.
- Turn left at the "T" intersection onto McDonalds Rd. Remain on this road, and you will find Cypress Lakes Resort (Thompsons Rd) on your right hand side
- The Lindemans winery, where the workshops and evening entertainment will be held, is a little further along McDonalds Rd.
