Weekend Accommodation & Workshops - Cypress Lakes Resort

We have secured Cypress Lakes Resort for both your accommodation and the venue for the weekend workshops. Cypress Lakes have a fabulous new venue, the Lagoon Pool Marquee. This is great as you will be able to walk from your villa to the workshops and Dinner Dance on the Saturday night.

Your accommodation for Friday and Saturday night is at the 5 star Cypress Lakes Resort in either a 2 bedroom (4 people per villa) or 3 bedroom villa (6 people per villa)

The Cypress Lakes Resort is on the corner of McDonalds & Thompson Road, Pokolbin.

Check in & out times

CHECK IN: Check in time is 2pm
You are welcome to check into the resort and to your room from 2pm Friday

CHECK OUT:
Check out time is strictly 11am
There is a late fee of $30 per hour thereafter
You are welcome to be at the resort after 11am, but you must be completely checked out of your room

Facilities/Activities

Villas are self-contained and include a full kitchen. If you would like pots and pans, you'll need to arrange this with Cypress Lakes or bring your own

There is a buggy service within the complex, which can take you from the gate to your villa or vice versa. ph: 1800 061 818

When you need a well-earned break from workshops there's plenty to do at the resort and in the surrounding area. Try a relaxing swim in one of the resort pools. Or visit the Golden Door Spa for a massage or beauty treatment. And of course, there's lots of wineries to visit.

    Breakfast Options:

  • Bring your own food and use the kitchen facilities in your villa
  • Breakfast in the Cypress Lakes dining room, at your own expense
    Lunch Options:

  • Self-catering in your own villa, or room service
  • At the Resort’s brasserie, Mulligans
  • At one of the many cafes or wineries scattered about the Hunter region

The recently extended Lagoon Pool Marquee is the perfect venue for our dance workshops and Dinner Dance. With stunning views of the Lagoon Pool and our own private Cabana Bar, the Marquee provides a great new venue for us. It is located next to the tennis courts so it’s an easy walk from your villa.
