Modern Jive Dance Championships 2008

Open to dancers with the following experience

• Unrestricted

Music:

• Dancers' choice. Judges recommendation a maximum of 4 minutes
• Judges may judge a routine to be too lengthy if competitors go over the judge’s recommendation.
  The clock starts when judges perceive that the performance has started regardless of whether music is playing.
• Competitors must reserve their music as early as possible. If more than one team require the same music, the first to reserve will have choice of performance position relative to the other team(s).

Format:

• A minimum of 3 couples must compete
• must be minimum 70% modern jive
• greater leeway for breakaway dancing
