Ceroc Dancing for Weddings and Special Occasions

Can we help you?

The simple answer is yes, we can help you with an upcoming special occasion.

A lot of people visiting this page would do so because of an upcoming wedding, whether it is their own, or for family and friends. However, this should not be the only reason. We're just as happy and able to assist with ceroc dancing for other festive and formal occasions as we are for weddings:

  • Mother, Father and Family of the Bride and Groom
  • Bridal Party
  • Formal Functions
  • Charity Balls
  • Themed Party Nights
  • 21st birthdays
  • Any of the "0" milestone celebrations ie: 30th, 40th, 50th, etc
  • Hen's Nights

A lot of people are looking for something impressive and interesting for their function, and this is where we come in.

With Ceroc dancing, it is possible to look decent on the dance floor in a short space of time, at those major milestone parties (you know, the one's where people are turning 40, 50 or even 60 and 70), work functions, charity balls etc. We can help the wedding couple, the bridal party, parents of the bride, even those who think they have multiple left feet.

Weddings

You've put all sorts of effort and organisation into all the other aspects of your wedding day, so why not also think about your first dance as a married couple. And, as we all know, everyone will be watching you, so why not make it spectacular, instead of "just getting through it".

Our choreographers and private lesson teachers can assist you with music selection, choreography, moves to compliment the dress style for the ladies, moves that are achievable and within your comfort zone for the couple involved, along with thought to the size of the dance floor, the length of the song etc.

So, what is Ceroc?

You have discovered a partner dance which is fun and easy to learn. The Ceroc Australia Dance Company teaches modern jive - a funky and eye-catching partner dance generally done to top forties, nightclub dance music, blues and swing music, etc. You can dance it at parties, nightclubs or just about anywhere!

Music

Some people have a definite idea of the song they want. Some people have no idea and need assistance or guidance with something appropriate. We can help with suggestions. So, if you have your songs, bring them with you. If you need help, say so!

How do we get private tuition?

After you contact us at our office, we'd put you in contact with some of our teachers who live in a suburb close by (if possible) and you'd make arrangements accordingly to meet and rehearse. Your teacher would discuss with you what your current dance status is - along with your partner's, what you want to achieve from the tuition, how much time you have to devote to it, etc.
